Hey! I'm sha sha , a singer in year 11 at a school in Melbourne. I have been singing in school chiors since a young age, and performing in school productions throughout my schooling years. I have singing lessons once a week for half and hour where I practice the songs I have chose to learn. During the rest of the week I try to squeeze in time everyday to go over what I had been working on. I am motivated by fear, I like to be organised and know that I am 100% sure that I know exactly what is required of me.

  1. Hi sha sha,

Sounds like you've got the basics of a good practice routine. I'm wondering how long you practice for (on average!) and what you do in your practice sessions? Could you respond to this comment and tell me?

    Thanks!

  2. Hey LocknessMonstah,

I try to practice for about 30 - 45minutes 3 or 4 nights a week depending on what else I have on. I focuss on the verses that I am having trouble with and go over them until I have it right. I usually start by going through from start to finnish to refresh my memory of my previous lesson :)
